Pooly, which was founded by Berat Ufukcan Temel and Onur Çelik in 2022 and provides artificial intelligence-based carpooling platform services for communities, completed its first investment round by receiving investment from Amsterdam-based SBC. Pooly; With the investment it has received, it aims to accelerate its operations in universities in Turkey and expand its team. At the same time, it plans to start operating in the USA as of the second quarter of 2024, as a result of the agreement it made with Yale. In addition, for the next three months, the initiative will expand its global vision by participating in a comprehensive acceleration program specialized in the Mobility vertical at SBC’s headquarters in Amsterdam. Expressing their opinions after the investment, the founding partners said, “In Istanbul, where 18 million journeys take place every day, we solve the transportation problems of communities, starting with university students, with our innovative and environmentalist model. In addition, we aim to bring a new breath to our users’ transportation routines by creating heat maps. We aim to grow our core team from universities such as Boğaziçi, Bocconi, Yale and TUM with teammates who desire to constantly read, learn and develop together.” made a statement.
